Miley Cyrus, slouching a bit in a gold gown, said she was nervous about negotiating the slick stairs onstage and recalled that her dad kept stepping on her train the previous year. Not to worry this year though: With dad at home babysitting, Cyrus brought her mom, Tish, who eventually popped on-screen and spun around to reveal a sizable back tattoo featuring two angel wings. “She has excellent taste in tattoos,” said Cyrus, who herself wanted to be more “Marilyn-esque” for the night.
